Encounter with a semi nude woman

    It was a two hour break.. no english class. And I was on my way back to the dormitory. I've been taking the same path eveeeryday to and fro the Medicine building for quite some time.

        med building ---> quadricentennial square ----> botanical garden ----> P. noval.. (and vice versa)

    But instead of taking the same path for like five hundredth time.. I chose to take the longer path.. the Espana route which makes the 10 minute walk to the dormitory twice longer. I was half way, when I saw from afar a woman in her 30s or late 20s walking on the street semi naked. She was wearing an old, blue plaid polo, unbuttoned, without bra, with her boobs exposed.. and a white underwear and slippers. Then, I thought to myself, "Woah. Is this what a woman can do just to get alms?" I quickly reached for my pocket to find a couple of coins. I tried to look again at the lady, to try to find out if I was just having visual hallucinations. She even seemed like she was walking proudly, like that of a pregnant woman. But as soon as I got few feet away from her, I extended my hands and find where I can put the coins. I didn't saw a can, but saw a towel instead. She stopped for a few seconds, upon seeing my hand with the coin about to lay the coins on her towel, but swiveled away from it. All I was able to do was shrug. I felt a wave of shame for myself. Don't know why either though..

The encounter was really perplexing.
