SHORT HAIR :)

It actually cost me a fortune to have my hair short.. treatments, color, even the cut itself. Actually went to Tony and Jackey's. heh. well since their service costs a gazillion.. or a gahundred.. I was thinking they know so much of hair than ate and kuya-ate's in nearby salons.. But the service was really great with personal lockers and all to put your belongings and some branches even offer wii or something plus you get to have the special feeling that koreans are cutting your hair, away from the ordinary again. Oh.. and the hairdresser was cute. She was all "I'm your hair dresser for today *bows*" in a very cute tone and accent (found out her name was Dooli, her hair was short too). When she found out I wanted my hair cut really short, she was sort of puzzled or something.. hahaha. So I asked her if it'll suit me. She told me I was pretty so it's ok. hahaha (ok, I felt I was nauto afterwards T.T) And when she's cutting the hair already... she went directly to neck part so I could see the whole long hair falling, but the assistants were more anxious than I was.. In no time, 3 assistants were already at my back with those puzzled looks and sometimes hearing some of their "aaaahs!" upon seeing those chunk of hair being cut. (And for some reason, their anxiety was really contagious.. upon getting up from my seat I saw that the chair was full of sweat from my legs that they almost look like urine! Embarassing..)

Actually, I've been thinking really hard if I would really like to do it. It took me 2 weeks.. and the 2 weekends was the hardest since I would watch myself at the mirror for hours.. and hours.. and hours..to think it through if it'll suit me until nothing gets done, literally. I even had this survey (again). It turned out that majority were affirmative (but after getting the haircut.. everyone was like.. "Ugh.." Thanks you guys *heart felt*)

And alot would actually wonder why I had it cut. I gave them different versions of the explanation. hahaha. Most are made up though like, "I had my heart broken"..  :)) But the only reason issss.. isss.. I idolize Sooyoung really baddddly. hahahahahahaha (stupid answer) LOVEEEE HEEEEER! *fangirl shrieks.. dies* hahaha

CURE ME!

I've been having hypothyroidism since time immemorial. And I haven't been paying attention to it.. since it doesn't pose that much threat. But until now.. just now.. or probably last year or this year.. or ok.. just now.. it's my new priority upon seeing these pictures.HAHAHA

The disease targets the metabolism (and partly the pituitary! this sucks since i really wanted to become so tall about 5'7 but.. but.. since I didn't paid much attention to its treatment.. ugh.. life! move on) which explains fat, untreated versions on the left. Who knows... I might get treated.. and.. hahaha. *EXCITEEEED*

BABY OUT!

Today had been an awesome experience! Even though all I was ever able to do was snuggle my RLE-mates and not a single skill was performed and to be put in the greenbook (the tally for skills you were able to do in duties... or else you'll not be able to take the boards... so called because.. it's green? haha), I was able to see 2 normal deliveries and 1 ceasarian section. And it was shocking..

The first was a mother who was in labor 24 hours ago... and for some reason the baby would not go out..and she was experiencing pre-eclampsia. She was screaming.. she was saying "ayoko na... hindi ko na kaya to! mamamatay na ata ako".  I want to hold her hand but the intern was already holding her hand. And I can't do anything but to simply stare at her pitifully while crying for help. And the anesthesiologist and the intern were.. desensitized I guess that they were simply snobbing the mother. She began to vomit because of too much anesthesia given to relieve the pain.. and that wasn't even the part when the baby is expelled or something. But in the end, the mother went into normal vaginal delivery.

Mother: Doc natatae na akooo.!

Anesthesiologist: Gaga.! Yan na yung bata. Manganganak ka na.!

The coolest part is when the baby comes out and she starts crying. It's one of the best music you'll ever hear. You'll just feel a sudden warmth in your chest. And the nurses will take the baby to the mother for the first time.. and you know.. that was the moment. It was very heart-warming. *teary-eyed*

The thing about the baby expulsion is well.. scary. Just imagine you sitting on the bowl with constipation.. and just imagine the babies 19-21 inches long... with heads (largest part in newborns) about 33-35 cm.. worse.. it's coming out from the vagina.. and sometimes they'll be inserting huge forceps in the vagina and to do that they still have to cut it to widen the passage.. T.T  And before you know it.,blood will be spilling out from the site like faucet. Good thing they'll be injecting you with anesthesia when they do the episiotomy (sewing back of the vagina after delivery.. haha). But sometimes.. you can stillfeel the needle coming in and out of the skin. hahaha..

Next was the ceasarian delivery. They say watching ceasarian was more scary than the normal delivery. But I disagree... The mother won't feel a thing due to the anesthesia so you won't hear a single word from the mother compared to their normal delivery counterparts. But you get to see skin cut off layer by layer while you see liters of blood being suctioned out from the tummy... epidermis, dermis, subcutaneous, muscles.. until you get into the baby.  The tummy becomes a work of art when the doctors start putting the skin together again.. into an excruciating layer by layer method again. And if ever I get to be pregnant.. someday (haha.. hoping that someday won't be this year or anytime sooner..), I prefer ceasarian.. but the thing is..I won't be able to wear bikinis.! *a very tough decision to make..*

HIGHLIGHT. My RLE-mates (kaye and megan) dancing into One Time by  Justin Bieber in the delivery room while the woman was on labor. How therapeutic guys.. haha.
